Ambassador Wu Peng Calls on Speaker of South Africa's National Assembly Thoko Didiza
On 4 December 2024, Ambassador Wu Peng called on Speaker of South Africa's National Assembly Thoko Didiza in Cape Town.
Ambassador Wu commended the development of China-South Africa relations and exchanges between law-making bodies of both sides. He said China's ready to make good use of mechanisms such as regular exchanges between the two legislatures, share more experience in governance and enhance practical cooperation in various fields, to push for greater development in the bilateral relations.
Ms Didiza spoke highly of relations between the two countries, noting that the National Assembly of South Africa is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the National People's Congress of China to take the bilateral relations to a new level.
