Ambassador Wu Peng Calls on Dr Lotriet, Deputy Speaker of South Africa's National Assembly
On 3 February, Ambassador Wu Peng made a courtesy call in Cape Town on Dr. Annelie Lotriet, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of South Africa.
Ambassador Wu commended the current China-South Africa relations and the exchanges between the legislative bodies of the two countries. He noted that China is ready to work with the National Assembly of South Africa to share experience in governance and advance cooperation in various fields and at various levels, so as to further develop the all-round strategic cooperative partnership in the new era between the two countries.
Dr Lotriet said that the South African National Assembly highly values the friendly and cooperative relations with China, and looks forward to expanding exchanges and cooperation with China's National People's Congress, to take the bilateral relations to a new level.
