Ambassador Wu Peng Meets with Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Ronald Lamola
On 25 April 2025, Ambassador Wu Peng met with South African Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Ronald Lamola.
Ambassador Wu said that in a world fraught with changes and turbulence, China is willing to work with South Africa to strengthen bilateral exchanges at all levels and practical cooperation in trade, investment, health and other fields. China will support South Africa in assuming the G20 Presidency, and work with South Africa to further develop the all-round strategic cooperative partnership in the new era.
Minister Lamola commented positively on how the bilateral relations have evolved. He noted that the South African side is ready to continue to work with China to expand win-win cooperation in various fields and strengthen multilateral communication, so as to better benefit the people of the two countries.
