Chinese Film Brought on South African Campus
On 14 February, a Chinese film screening activity was held at the University of Johannesburg, organised by the Chinese Embassy in South Africa and the Confucius Institute at the University of Johannesburg. Minister Li Zhigang of the Embassy and Dr David Monyae, Co-Director of the Confucius Institute, attended the event and delivered speeches. The film Wandering Earth 2 was screened. It tells the story of global cooperation against crisis, and embodies the philosophy of a community with a shared future for mankind. The unique Chinese narrative and well-crafted special effects attracted many students and professors.
