2014 and 2015 are dedicated as country years of South Africa and China by both governments to enhance the friendship and cooperation. Following a series of successful events held for the Year of SA in China in 2014, a splendid China Year in SA is coming soon.
In order to celebrate this grand event, the Chinese Embassy cordially invites you to a slogan collection competition and a story collection competition.
The slogan is supposed to reflect your expectation for the China Year in SA, good wishes to the friendship, or just anything you feel can brand the best-ever relationship and a common good future.
The story is for you to share with us your experiences with China or Chinese people, and your expectation for China-SA friendship and cooperation. You can fill in the form attached and send it to our email address: info@chinese-embassy.org.za with the subject as "slogan and story collection competition".
Activity concludes on Dec. 31, 2014. We will hold a rewards presentation ceremony for the winners of the competitions. Rewards include Hisense large screen LCD TVs and Huawei smart cell phones. Information about the winners and award ceremony will be published on our website by the end of January 2015.
