The Fourth Meeting of China-Africa Think Tanks Forum Kicks Off in South Africa

On Sep 9th, the Fourth Meeting of China-Africa Think Tanks Forum kicks off in South Africa. Charge d'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy Li Song, together with over 100 scholars, government officials, entrepreneurs and journalists from China and Africa, attended the opening ceremony.

In his address, Charge d'Affaires Li Song said China firmly participates in, supports and promotes Africa's development. China-Africa cooperation has brought concrete benefits to both sides and China and Africa have already become a community of shared destiny and interest. China is willing to work with African countries to elevate China-Africa new type of strategic partnership to a new height.

The Fourth Meeting of China-Africa Think Tanks Forum is hosted by Zhejiang Normal University, Mapungubwe Institute of Strategic Reflection and the Department of International Relations and Cooperation in South Africa. Key issues Beijing discussed during the two-day meeting include implementation of Africa's Agenda 2063, Africa's relations with the world and Sino-African productivity cooperation and what the two can learn from each other.
