Ambassador Wu Peng Inspects Chinese-Funded Projects in South Africa
From 15 to 16 January, Chinese Ambassador to South Africa Wu Peng inspected Chinese-funded projects at Gold One Group, Sany Heavy Industry, and Yanfeng Group. He reviewed their security arrangements and compliance practices, and urged the companies to refine systems, strengthen internal oversight, actively fulfil their social responsibilities, and foster a positive image of Chinese enterprises.
Ambassador Wu stressed that all companies must follow the bottom line mentality, and strictly implement measures to ensure security and compliant operations. He underscored the importance of abiding by local laws and regulations, fulfilling social responsibilities, and making due contributions to China-South Africa relations and bilateral cooperation.
