Ambassador Wu Peng Calls on South African Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development Mmamoloko Kubayi
On 23 January, Ambassador Wu Peng paid a courtesy call on Mmamoloko Kubayi, South Africa's Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development. The meeting was also attended by Acting Director-General Kalay Pillay and Deputy Director-General Shireen Said of the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development.
Ambassador Wu Peng spoke highly of China-South Africa relations and highlighted the strong potential for cooperation in the judicial field. He noted that China is ready to strengthen communication and exchanges with South Africa, share more experience and deepen practical cooperation.
Minister Kubayi remarked that China is an important partner of South Africa, and that South Africa is ready to enhance judicial cooperation with China to safeguard bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
