Spokesperson of the Chinese Embassy Counsellor Wang Xiaolin Attends the Wildlife Protection Workshop

On April 13, China's State Forestry Administration (SFA), China Customs, National Forestry Police and China International Contractors Association together with World Wildlife Fund hosted a wildlife protection workshop in Johannesburg. Spokesperson of the Chinese Embassy Counsellor Wang Xiaolin attended the workshop and delivered remarks.

In her remarks, Counsellor Wang elaborated on the policies and position of the Chinese government on wildlife protection. She emphasized the Chinese government's commitment to expanding cooperation with Africa including South Africa on wildlife protection, providing assistance in enhancing protection capability and jointly combating illegal wildlife trafficking with Africa. The Embassy will continue to work with the Chinese communities and companies in South Africa to make greater contribution to wildlife protection.
