2. Where to apply visas for Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR？

As of 1st May 2019, ordinary passport holders applying for ordinary visas for Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR are requested to submit visa applications via the Chinese Visa Application Service Center. The Chinese Embassy and Consulates General in South Africa no longer accept this type of visa applications directly.
