Notice on Fingerprint Collection Exemptions for Short-term Chinese Visa Applicants
To further facilitate visa applicants, effective immediately until December 31, 2026, short-term visa (with a stay not exceeding 180 days) applicants will be exempted from the requirement of fingerprint collection.
For visa applicants of D, J1, Q1, S1, X1, and Z visas, who need to apply for residence permits after entering China, fingerprint collection is still required in accordance with relevant regulations.
