Minister Qin Zhanpeng Inspects Chinese-Funded Enterprises and Projects in South Africa
From 4 to 5 February, Minister Qin Zhanpeng of the Chinese Embassy in South Africa inspected Chinese-funded enterprises and projects in South Africa, including Pengxin Mining, POWERCHINA, and Rayal Industrial. Minister Qin learned in detail about their workplace safety, compliance management, and measures to prevent disorderly competition. He called on the enterprises to actively fulfill their social responsibilities, enhance China’s image, and effectively communicate China’s story.
Minister Qin emphasized that all enterprises must strictly comply with South African laws and regulations, firmly uphold safety principles, maintain compliant operations, and avoid disorderly race to the bottom. He encouraged the enterprises to publicize examples of their fulfilling social responsibilities, earn the trust and support of local communities, and pursue long-term development.
