President Xi Jinping Sends Congratulatory Message to the Third Arab-African Summit
On 19 November local time, the Third Arab-African Summit was held in Kuwait City, the capital of the State of Kuwait. Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message to the Summit, expressing warm congratulations on its convening.
Xi Jinping in the congratulatory message spoke positively of the achievements made by Arab and African countries in all fields through cooperation, expressing belief that Arab and African countries will seize new historical opportunities to push for unceasing new progress of Arab-African cooperation.
Xi Jinping stressed that China has always taken developing China-Arab relations and China-Africa relations as an important direction for the foreign policy. China is ready to work with Arab and African nations to promote greater development of China-Arab strategic cooperative relations and of the new type of China-Africa strategic partnership.
Li Liguo, President Xi Jinping's Special Envoy and Minister of Civil Affairs, read out President Xi's message. Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-sabah thanked for President Xi Jinping's congratulations.
